My main issue with this guest is that she clearly didn’t do any research about the podcast before being on. On multiple last weeks Chemda says she always recommends that new guests at least listen to the first 10 minutes of an episode so they get a feel for the format and how things typically go. It was clear she didn’t do any research.

Also, just a little extra bonus since we're talking, any time the guest questions us about their sound before the show - "But this is how I ALWAYS do it" - it's gonna be trouble. Just lookin back.

So you are expected to spend at least 1-2 hours of your time watching the documentary but she can’t bother to spend at least 5 minutes looking at your very easy to navigate website and read the fact sheet Chemda sends out? Ok then...that’s so frustrating as a fan to hear these guests ask super basic questions that if they bothered at all or frankly cared enough they could have gotten their questions answered. Aka google it. It’s like they forget that they aren’t just talking to two people, they are talking to thousands of fans of the show that they are trying to sell their documentary, comedy etc too. Why would I want to seek any of her stuff out when she can’t even take 5-10 minutes to look up the basics of the show?

She has for sure had terrible experiences where people made her feel like a freak and she told us that she lost friends over the transition.
That’s why she is very much on guard.

You don’t get to ask EVERY comedian who happens to be trans what’s in their pants, which I don’t think Keith does.

Also... she could be less angry about it. She could just say "I'm not comfortable talking about the medical procedure itself as I'm not a trained medical professional but I'm glad to talk about what it was like for me both physically and emotionally." I think there is room for respect both ways and I think Keith backed off when he should have, he wasn't aggressive about it or a dick or anything. That is I think Keith was respectful and she could have been a little more respectful. I also have sympathy for her in that she probably gets ambushed a lot and harshly.

I also give her some blame in that, as others have pointed out, she came on the show having done nothing to prepare. I doubt she listened to a single minute of any of the 3,400+ episodes.

So she does talk about the wife in the doc? Then nevermind my question. From her reaction I thought said nothing or "Wife #1 doesn't want to be involved in my story," in the doc.
