I only heard about it maybe 8 years ago!
And I read several books about it. It's pretty fascinating! The experiences seem very similar to each other.

Wonder if happens when the brain shuts down? Or is there more to it? We will know for sure on our death days!

I read the drug DMT mimic the chemical processes that occur in the brain during a near death experience.

I have a near death experience every time my blood is low. If I don’t get it up I die. I’m one of the lucky few who can mostly function while low meaning-my body has a strong protect and survive drive. I’ve always woken up when low-not every diabetic does-I can usually communicate what is going on.

I know when driving there have been many times where I avoided a crash that could have been very bad.

I voted no on this poll but now I'm listening to last week's "Last Week" and Keith mentioning a 2x4 flying through a windshield made me wonder if this counts. When I was a kid my parents went on a road trip without us and the axle of their car shot up through the backseat. If my sister or I were on that trip one of us would have definitely been killed by it. Does that count? If not I truly don't think I've ever had a near death experience.
