3601: Red Wave w/ Calvin Cato
Everyone’s favorite, Calvin Cato, joins KATG to discuss Veterans Day, the Republican Party pulling away from Donald Trump after his promise of a Red Wave didn’t pan out, and Alex Jones being ordered to pay an additional $473 million in punitive damages on top of the $965 million he was already ordered to pay in his second Sandy Hook hoax trial. The gang also discusses Gallagher the comedian dead at 76, Chemda’s new leg tumor (!!!), and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Also, Calvin learns about Sniffies.

I think the lady who said: we are not that racist was quite on point.
She was realistic. Like; I know we are still somehow racist but 50% less than in 2016. We learned stuff. I respect her self reflection. |

Omg I'm so glad you liked Black Panther 2. I was sure you'd end up on a worldstar fight comp.
I have a question *MINOR SPOILER* When Namor introduced himself to the Queen at the river, did you pick up on the pronunciation he used? And later on when Namor reveals how he got name, how long did it take for it to click in your mind? I understood the moment the priest called him what he did and Namor says "that's how I got my name". I think he repeats it (what the priest said) once more to drive home the idea for the non Spanish speakers. Just wondering, did you pick up on it a full 10 seconds before everyone cause you have some understanding of Spanish, or did you get it when he explained and repeated himself, or did it not click at all and youre wondering wtf I'm talking about. |

As a white guy who speaks Spanish, I noticed how he pronounced it differed from how it’s traditionally been pronounced and that it sounded similar to Spanish “amor”. Then it threw me off that other people continued referring to him with the “standard” pronunciation, but then when he explained it I liked how it clicked together with what I had subconsciously thought earlier.

re: tumors ....
I think our bodies have more lumps and bumps than we ever really know about, and most are not worth worrying about. That's why they don't do routine full-body scans on people. It comes up with all the weird body shit we don't really need to worry about. Crossing my finger this IS just nothing as the doctor seems unbothered. |
