Sorry for your loss Keith
Hate that your dad's a dickhead, but that's his issue, you clearly turned out less fucked up. Congrats? Bet you didn't expect to see that word in a message about your mom dying. He he. <3 |

Wow... simply wow. I know what it's like to lose a parent and not go to the funeral. It was early in CoVid when they still had tent hospitals up in NYC, we had several family members sick and or in hospital and the healthy ones were basically yelling at me not to drive up from an at the time relatively unscathed Tennessee.
I wish I could have been there for them. To this day I wonder if that was the right decision. |

Sorry for your loss.
I just heard the episode, I've been having to play catch up. I've been in hospital with some blood clots and organ failure issues therefrom. Had a few surgeries and was in an induced coma for a few days. Your shows have been a great companion while laid up and nothing to do but listen to podcasts and sleep. Thanks for everything you guys do. Best regards, Mike |

I'm sorry, Keith.
I was reminded of that episode some time ago where you played a voice message from your mum and it made her feel very real to me (as a listener - and of course, it's ALL about me here). She sounded so sweet. You did the right thing not going to the funeral. One of the few benefits of being an adult is that you don't have to do stuff you don't want to (except taxes and making money and sit in traffic etc.). You do you! |

No, nothing so fun as this. Had some serious issues. Very similar stuff to the NFL guy we saw. Same time frame w/ bivalent treatment etc. I can't take any legal action given the new laws around this shit my lawyer tells me. I can only take action against private employer (govs and maker of the thing that hurt me are exempted specifically under emergency use wording) if I can prove mandated but it was a client of my employer who mandated it so the counter argument is that I could still work there but not have a client...thus not working there...is weird legal shit. I'll probably die before anything comes of it anyway. Have major chronic failures now and probably wont be able to live on my own...days is numbered.
