Woohoo, you're back!
I forced myself to stay up to go to a friend's New Year's party for a couple of hours. I wanted to go to sleep but I knew I'd have a good time and meet new people if I went. |

Happy new year!
I had Christmas Covid but I'm fine now. It was ok. I had worse times. 04/10. ( only coughed one night ) I dont do procrastination. But I used to. Unfortunately I've forgotten how I did it. Something with having kids and desperation and therapy. It's pretty great. You get stuff really done and feel superior. Big recommendation. 10/10. |

Before hearing this episode, I was thinking to myself that 2024 was going to be my year. After getting COVID in 2021 and dealing with long COVID since, my academic journey took a sharp turn. I went from being a straight-A student to withdrawing from every semester. However, 2023 ended with me finishing a semester. Granted, I didn't end with the grades I used to — in fact, I didn't pass any class in this master's track with a B — but the accomplishment feels significant nonetheless. Hearing Keith's declaration that 2024 is 'his year' resonated with me. I noticed nobody else was claiming it as 'their year,' which made me question my resolve... until Keith mentioned it, reaffirming my belief. It’s a powerful reminder of resilience and bouncing back despite the odds. Here's to 2024 — a year where our setbacks become the setups for our comebacks.
