1) Called it about the BPD.

2) I’m torn. Is it interesting? ABSOLUTELY. However, I realize my reaction to this episode is projection coming from personal experience with people with severe BPD who are not actively seeking help. Honestly and comparatively, this episode was like giving a crashing alcoholic alcohol (to clarify - the addiction to attention whether it be positive or negative).

I know that as a listener that I have the power to not listen to these specific episodes. I’m thankful that this is a great community where I have the chance to say something so that Keith knows there’s some disapproval. At the same time, it’s his show – whatever he chooses to do going forward is up to him.

I’d be happy to hear episodes with Saadia if we know for certain she’s actively seeking treatment and actively working on herself to stop self-destructing behaviour. Until then though, all of this is very icky. I would feel terrible for her if this cause another split/dysregulation to the point she severely injures herself. Saadia - you are worth a stable life. I hope you find the help & really stick to it.

I felt the same when JFOD was starting into a manic episode when he was on what was it, two years ago? Difference is though we know he's actively seeking treatment and has fail-safes in place if signs are showing.

The thing is she knows exactly what she is doing. Just because someone is mentally ill doesn’t mean they lack self control/capactiy. This lady has children. And she keeps sending unwanted messages. I doubt Keith will have her on again because it will just encourage her bad behavior.

No one forced her on. She could have ended it at anytime and not participated. But she gets off on it.

Agreed! She confirmed she enjoys affecting people negatively and then she cycled the same behavior the next day. The actions reveal the real intentions. The lack of engagement with her obvious attempts at being a troll on reddit is kinda nice. Not giving it attention ruins her attempts at feeling better at other people's expense.

I tried to listen to this episode but when she was on I felt my life energy leaving my body and me looking forward to being dead.
Otherwise great stuff!

Nobody forces heroin addicts to use heroin either, but if you dangle heroin in front of them and they say "why don't you let me come use heroin on your show, it'll make great content"

...and then you set that up, they come on your show, use the heroin, and say "yeah, I know I'm a heroin addict, that's why I'm using this heroin" in an atmosphere of "i know you're full of shit, all you have to do is want to stop, but you don't really want to stop"

What a spectacle.. can you blame people for getting an 'ick' from that?

I would do this show all over again.

Not AGAIN, Saadia, easy. But yes, all over again.

Do you feel abusers shouldn’t face any accountability for harming others? Do victims of their harm have no recourse to address it? I wonder if this approaches enables damaging behavior. A heroin addict in a vacuum is only harming themselves. This person continues to harm and harass others.

That is hilarious and similar to how I felt. I get why people are laughing but I'm really upset this segment deprived us of more football talk from the dogs and I can't forgive S for that.
