257: Shows 3743 - 3746

Rod is joined by Keith and Chemda to discuss all the guests being amazing people and no off-the-mic drama happening AT ALL. That's right, no amazing revelations like when Karen hosts the show. Sorry to bore you with a hilarious recap of the last week between friends, Shawn.

This episode was recorded live in front of a studio audience

I have intrusive thoughts. It got pretty bad in stressful situations so that they were the reason to go to therapy. Now I'm ok with them and they only come up from time to time. But at one time in my life they caused a deep depression. When I didn't know what they were.

What helps is not fighting them but to say something like: I know you are trying to point out danger. Thanks I got it.

Intrusive thoughts here!

(normal driving day) Just fucking swerve into the median.
(shopping in the store) Arm-sweep everything off these shelves.
(mild inconvenience) Walk into the woods and disappear forever.
(absolutely nothing at all happening) Scream FUUUUUUUUCK in the middle of a crowded place.
(holding a small human, animal) Could just snap its neck and no one would see it coming.

Powerwash Simulator as meditation.

I listened to this while playing PowerWash simulator VR. It was magical. I do have to say the proportions of some of these places such as the playground makes me think we are helping literal giants keep their place clean. While a volcano rumbles in the distance. And some idiot damn near fell in the volcano trying to rescue the Mayor’s cat!

That playground was a beast... trying to find the last speck of dirt... "tower support struts" just get on top of a ladder then crouch down extra low somehow and bam. magic.

The next one, the house I just did... that was a tricky one too with hidden dirt. Check under all the wood trim along the house fyi.

I did discover that you can highlight a task on the list so that it will glow where you still need to clean to avoid having to keep smashing the Y button to figure out where the help that last speck of dirt it is. I was vexed until I discovered that hack. Right now I can’t get past the drill because the game doesn’t let me move the damn step ladder and the rest of the dirt is in those damn wheel wells. I only have the medium washer though. Working on getting that 5k so I can get the best one to see if that helps.

Katie Boyle just put out a standup speciaal on YouTube and it was pretty good. I'm a little tired of the stuff on Netflix, but there's Adobe decent stuff that people are putting out themselves
