Don't get me wrong, the first word out of my mouth when I heard the news about Zarqawi was "Good!"

Then of course the consipiracy theorist in me wondered how they managed to get such an intact body out of a house that was obliterated by two 500 pound bombs...why isn't he spaghetti now?

But consider that England managed to catch the London bombers within a week. We still haven't caught the man who actually orchestrated and conducted the terror attacks in New York almost five years ago. What the fuck is up with that? Do they even care about catching him?

He is not spaghetti because unless the bomb fell right on top of him the most likely cause of death was shrapnel, blast injuries, concusion or collapsed lungs.

catching the minions that conducted the london bombing was possible because they were on the scene. Had Osama been in New York I think we might have been able to get him. Waziristan (Afghanistan and Pakistan area) is the most likely place that he is hiding and finding anything there is difficult.

Well I guess that makes sense. I don't know anything about bombs, but the aftermath images of suicide bombings in Israel seem to show so much bodily damage it seemed like a 500 pound bomb would just obliterate the house and everything in it.

The suicide bomber is wrapped in explosives and tries to get as close to others as possible.

Zarqawi porbably had a shelter in the house or at least took some cover if he had time, either way most bombs used by the air force are for destroying infrastructure and the concusion/shockwave is the devestating effect of them. Used in the open dessert most bombs either bury their human targets or crush the frail human frame

Agreed, it's just horrible that all the bad things happen in the name of Allah. Those .5% hateful muslims make a bad name for all the muslims in the world. Not all muslims are this way. It's just that super small percentage that makes the muslim community look bad.

It's very profound. Anti-Americans like you think we are trying to dominate the world. That's how you play the game of Risk. You keep going until one guy (Bush, I guess) has everything.

In Castle Risk, you hide your castle and when somebody gets your castle, you're gone. So, when the handsome gentleman who cut off Nick Bergs head died yesterday, that's like finding Iaq's castle. You said, now all we have to do is get Bin Laden and the game's over. That would be like catching Afghanistan's castle. Game over.

So, I called the white house and explained to them the error of their ways.

Jokes aren't funny if you have to explain them.
