Heard about this stuff on Joe Rogan's podcast, apparently he's putting his name behind this cognitive enhancement supplement called Alpha Brain. Has anyone looked into this? its seems like people either think its a placebo effect or they're totally behind it. What do you guys think?

EDIT: adding this after research. those caps are part of the whole Nootropics scam. The components in them are a bunch of nutritional supllements that have no particular effect or change towards the brain. Its a placebo effect, if there is one, close to Idozer or other pseudo mind enhancer that are being sold on the web to people that are desperate to try anything.

not surprised that rogan is behind it too. Hes always been interested into all sortos of fake "thir eye" opening silliness and also hes always been a very manipulative person who know he has a gullible fanbase that will buy into anything he sells cause they think hes honest and real.

Sad to see how low he got, but anyone who spends money for this, is asking to be ripped off and deserve what they get.

I'm too lazy, so I just scanned the wikis. Some seem legit. If you have a university library account, you can easily do in-depth research, otherwise I probably wouldn't trust the internet since it'll all be SEOed marketing hype. Couple of things to note is the ingredients that have wiki mentions on recommended doses are present in lower doses in Alpha Brain. Like GPC Choline has recommended 300-1200 and only 100 in AB. Also, AC-11 has no wiki entry, and it's a "proprietary compound licensed from Optigenex Inc."

And of course, lol oat straw.

since he became popular with his podcast and gaines an audience that isnt necessarily connected with comedy and listens to whatever he says and trusts it, he started promoting everything that is "mind enhancement" or "body modification".

at first it was mostly out of his own experience, then he started having people from that scene promoting their own scams: sensory deprivation tanks, nootropic, growth hormones and all sorts of real and fake drugs.

he's become alex jones but for the angry white kid who do youtube videos screming about conspiracies and buy pills cause theu hope to "have a mind opening experience". and hes got tons of money from this.

He does seem fond of conspiracy theories and the explaining the evilness of pharmaceutical companies.

Do you think he actually takes that alpha brain stuff that he plugs? in one episode he said he had 3 before the show and was waiting for them to kick in.

I can understand if he's genuinely believes in it with his pro-drugs and third eye stuff but if he's not on it and just pumping it for the money that would be a bit dispicable of him .

he probably took it, he tries all those things. but im mostly convinced that he sees that his audience would fall for it and get the stuff without even thinking, if hes behind it. He KNOWS how his show has kinda become the absolute Truth for some kind of people. he might believe in it partailly, but hes way too thick skinned to do it just out of sincerity. He is not as much as a truthful guy as he sells himself.

looked up this product on the internet and his name was mentioned on every revieqw, report or artickle about it. The manufacturers got a shitload of interest by this and he probably gets his share.

everyone does it, but theyre in the opne about it. instead he is being regarded as this semi-prophet of thius movement and people seem to forget that hes a homophobic, mysoginist asshole, who used to sprew venom on the same people he now wants to be a spokesperson for.

Plus, have you ever interacted with his people? they dont tolerate any criticism, theyre a bunch of angry bullies who think hes the messiah. its unsettling.

I couldn't listen to Rogan's podcast for too long. Way too much babbling on about other worldly experiences, psilocybin mushrooms, DMT, sensory deprivation baths, psychedelics and other nothing conversations that you'd hear from a bunch of people sitting around smoking heavily laced dope or something. Just not my bag.
