The episode he did with Dave Attell and another on the occupy wallstreet thing was particularly interesting and he seems like tries to be mellow and understanding of most people, I think they're episodes 155 and 147 respectively. <![CDATA[The Joe Rogan Experience ]]> Could you have a listen and tell me what you think? and no I'm not drinking the kool-aid I'd just like have an opinion of Joe Rogan one way or the other.

i dunno. i picked that podcast up in many occasion and everytime he dropped one of those hateful gems. other times, hes high enough to pass as a mellowe open minded intellectual.
mine is mostly a gut feeling, i guess. i used to be a fan of his comedy until i noticed that his staments on women and gays were a little more than jokes. then i heard the podcast and that was confirmed in many occasions. |

Any good suggestions beyond 'no weed?' Seriously. I'm taking B vitamins, and not drinking alcohol....as much. Help! |

Agreed! ON both counts. Haha. I was never a heavy smoker. I have many friends who are the 'burnt' types - constantly in a haze. They're mostly growers who will never change and are comfortable w/ continously forgetting where the keys are, excessive and exclusive reggae shows, etc.
Ignorance is bliss' It sucks when you are just smart enough to realize your stupid, (like myself) - I've been trying to write more and it's not going as well as before. I hate the thought of having to be 'altered' to be creative, but maybe it's true? Anybody ever have depression affect their memory?? |

It helps if you see the guest is from the new episode is MMA...then just skip it. Ultimately, I give Joe some slack because I see him as a jock who's aware and evolving. He seems to have heart. Junk, do you listen to 'The Long Shot podcast? It's an impressive show. |

You got the impression that Dave is not getting the amount of fans he deserves. I loved his "Captain Miserable.' Hopefully his new showtime show helps his career. |

Meh, keys are just a matter of habit. Same for any other routine stuff.
Factual memory is pretty unnecessary these days imo. I couldn't list all the USA#1 states (though I know what is and isn't a state), european countries, I don't know the capitals of anything, and if you gave me a list of US Presidents, I wouldn't know half of them. But I have a 3G phone on me at all times and know how to look up anything I need. Same for important dates. Google Calendar connected to my phone. For any appointment, I usually set myself 2-5 reminders depending on importance: Email notification a week before, Email 2 days before, SMS the night before, SMS the morning of, SMS at a minimal time it'd take me to get ready in case I still forgot about it. I've never been late for anything important with this system and it doesn't require me to remember anything.
