Andy Rooney dead at 92

Andy Rooney dead at 92 - CBS News

2 months after leaving 60 minutes.

How'd he die?
He died jumping out of an airplane on the back of a crocodile, trying to sky-surf.

How long were the odds that Andy Rooney would die before Mickey Rooney? Good job, Mickey.

Besides the jokes that will drop all over the place, when he said he was retiring, my first thought was that he would die shortly after.

seems like people like him, who work until they're octuagenarians, die as soon as they retire (unless he retired BECAUSE he was ill). Its like they have no reason to survive when their only purpose ceases.

Perhaps he died because he was ninety-fuckin'-two!

I'm gonna give your podcast a listen. Hard to go wrong with Pixies and Husker Du.

It's as you say, maybe retired people die because they stopped working or they stopped working because they were dying.

There are many ways a person can die. Old age. Car accident. Getting shot by a neighbor. Drug overdose. Heart attack. Hanging. Falling off a building. Starvation. Dehydration. Drowning.

I don't understand why people drown. I've never drowned. Why should anybody else?
