Resurrecting an old thread because I'm moving back to Omaha.
My job sucks, banks foreclosing on my house. I give up, the world beat me so I'm going to go back home shrivel up and die.

So I haven't lived there in 12 years. The few times I've visited I didn't go out much because I was with family. I imagine everything I knew has changed.
So where are some cool places to hang out around the city now? I'll be living in North Omaha. I'm also 35, so don't send me to college bars.
What places are cool hangouts now?


Oh, and please tell me Bronco burgers and Johnny Sortinos are still around. I have to hit them up if they are.

No specific date yet. I'll stay here as long as I can, but sometime in the next month or so. Bank is auctioning my house 10/6.

Ranch bowl got torn down and turned into a wal mart. I do most of my drinkin down town. Good Shit happens at a bar called the waiting room. But its the kinda underground scene that i am getting a bit old for. it's omaha not alot of cool shit.
