Just found this awesome album by The Sword, reminds me of early Black Sabbath mixed with Led Zeppelin.

What are some good black metal bands. I don't like Cradle of Filth, i think it's because Dani Filth is an asshat, but i heard their new song last night and kinda liked it.

I'm looking for bands with high pitched shrieking as well as deep, throaty death growls.

Like this... just not Cradle Of Filth and without that chanting stupidity at the start.

I am so in love with the new Cradle of Filth album. "Goodspeed and the Devil's Thunder" is the best thing they have done in years.

I've never been a CoF fan. Dani Filth annoys me, every since i saw him in Cradle of Fear i haven't been willing to pay any attention to him.

What is up with Alice Cooper's new video? I saw it lastnight and i felt like i was going nuts, it's more like a mini sampler of his new album with 3 or 4 songs chopped up and mashed into 1 ten minute video.

Cradle of Fear is truly horrendous - I try to forget about that though I have thought about buying the DVD so I can say that i have the worst movie ever made on DVD other than Showgirls - which - I could go in the merits of how that movie is so amazingly bad that it's good......another conversation for another time.

Alice Cooper - yeah, it looks like some sort of sampler. Not that great but Slash is as awesome as ever.

Yea, it's good Alice Cooper teamed up with Slash... old rocker with awesome guitarist. Reminded me of Ozzy and Zakk Wylde.

I JUST finished listening to One With The Flies by Soilwork on my daily commute. I saw them live earlier this year (with the 2 different guitarists, the one of the old guys has come back now) and they were awesome. Speed is an awesome vocalist and apart from a few tech problems it was an amazing show.
