Amen Bob. I was beginning to feel alone with my respect for music, something so special that it needs to be supported, in this world of digital squatters...

Let the metal flow... Damn, i miss chuck, and the days where no mwtalhead would have dared to steal his stuff... maybe i'm a dreamer.

Snagged the new Heaven & Hell album, "The Devil You Know", and the new Devin Townsend Project album, "Ki", a couple days ago. They're both amazing. Heaven & Hell's is just plain heavymetaltastic while the DTP is amazing in a way more mellow way. Plan to purchase both of these when they come out for sure.

The "Heaven and Hell" album is one of the year's top 5. Pure as a diamond.

Did that leak? Looking forward to getting that, might wait a while though, leaks tend to be low. Hopefully he does that Vynal with free digital copy thing, that would make a nice addation to my vinyl collection. (and proably the first non second hand one)

He is one of my favorite musicians. I think he is planning a world tour off the back of it, I don't know how extensive it is though so I will proably need to go to england or dublin to see him.

I've been on a purpetual Nightwish binge. Yeah, they're not all that heavy, but it's just so fucking good. I'm such a sucker for symphonic bands...

They have sucked pretty hard since Tarja left but they had some pretty good songs with Tarja singing, I liked the wish master alot.

Eh, I honestly really like their newest album. Anette has a different sound, but I still enjoy the tunes. They put on a great live show last year when I saw them as well. Great show... Sonata Arctica opened up, which was excellent. Had a great time.

Oh man, I'm sure Nightwish is going to care about the sales they lost from gregg. Oh wait.

For actual fans of metal:

Ensiferum just posted on their site that a new album is finished and will be out in September in "most territories". FUCK YEAH.

Sonata arctica are really good too but another band in a growing list of bands whos latest albums were sub par. I liked Ecliptica alot but I haven't really listened to them in a while, haven't really listened to power metal of that variety in a while, I've been mainly listening to the likes of gamma ray or blind guardian when I feel like some power metal.
