I have to agree with all this list except for Cradle of Filth which is a fucking brilliant album and the best thing they have done for years. Bring on the high pitched screeching me says! |

Trivium are the Britney Spears of the metal scene. If they would just drop the "we really, really, really, really, really want to be Metallica" bullshit, they could've remained half decent.
Some new bands i've came across in the last few days; As Blood Runs Black - I love the double kick at around 3:30 of "My Fears Have Become Phobias" however the rest of the album is much better... more Parkway Drive-ish Hardcore then death metal. Hester Prynne is a favourite of mine though. All Shall Perish Through The Eyes Of The Dead Job For A Cowboy Last edited by serial_x; 11-06-2008 at 05:04 AM. |

I went and saw Turisas last night. Once again they put on an awesome show. Dragonforce is even worse live than they are on CD, and the place was packed with 10-12 year olds and their parents. Somehow the few Turisas fans ended up in one area, Warlord found us and began paying a lot of attention to that group for the chants etc.
He didn't even try doing the sing along contest for Rasputin since I don't think many people would have known the words, judging from the rest of the performance. |
