Tosin Abasi is a guitar master. He was the tour guitarist for Born Of Osiris in '09 and his band, Animals As Leaders, have an album and it's mind blowing. It's progressive instrumental metal.. think Joe Satriani meets a band like After The Burial.

It's amazing stuff, the album is around an hour of pure guitar genius. The thing I like about Tosin is that he isn't just another guy that can play guitar, he really knows his shit. He has a few interview videos on YouTube and you can tell he studies his craft very well.

A couple weeks ago I drove out to Detroit to see Katatonia and Swallow the Sun. Best decision ever. Talk about one hell of a fucking show... I had a huge tard grin on my face the entire time they were on stage. Love these guys.
