I was recently in Texas! It is a nice place. I've thought about moving there. I would like to go down there for such an excellent show, but I am poor.

Texas was ok. I liked Austin alright. I just don't do well in extreme heat.
I am painfully poor as well, but that lineup is too goddamn good to pass up. My plan is to pay for the bazillion things I need to right now and with a quickness, and then start saving. I will make it work.

That sounds like a plan! I figure if I am going to save up for another trip it should be 2012 April 15th.

And I guess I'm in the fortuitous situation of being able to drive up to DC and see metal shows regularly, so I already have more than enough awesome shows to take my money. For example! I saw Ensiferum for a fourth time recently and Sabaton is coming in April AND a double set Amon Amarth show in May.

You are pretty lucky with your location and accessibility to shows. I have to pick and choose because it usually involves taking at least one day off of work. I've already missed so many good things this year because of bullshitty reasons. Oh well. I suppose it makes the shows I get to go to extra special.

...and the closest Amon Amarth is coming to me is Cleveland. It's on a Tuesday, of course. Feel my jealousy, Bob.
