Yeah, I was going to do the Chelsea Star too, but got too busy this week. Looks like I'm going to have to roll the dice this weekend and see what I can get. Apparently a month in advance is late! Good to know. Of course I have no idea where anything is in New York, so I'm just going to have to guess. This should be interesting if nothing else.

There will be plenty of other KATG peeps that have been there before and will be able to point you in the right directions... don't worry about it, just plan on having a good time!

Worst case, I just find some place in Jersey. That's practically New York, right?

I found a place down the street from the Chelsea. Hostel prices, same neighborhood and it came well recommended. It's called the Carlton Arms. I haven't actually booked yet, but I'm going to on Monday.

Well, I'm in. Just doing one night since I only live a few hours away, but I'll be living large at the Chelsea Star, and I bought my ticket for the actual show - don't forget to do that!

If anybody wants to present me with awards of any sort that night, I will be prepared to accept them. Huzzahs all around!

Gonna book my trip. This time, I'm not gonna ride the motorcycle from Charlotte... that shit just hurt...Haven't been to an event since the 300th show, stupid life and getting busy. Does anyone know if there are the silly hostel rules about coming and going after a certain time at the Chelsea with a dorm room? I don't want to end up sleeping on the street like an animal...

Nope. Come and go as you please. Just keep in mind that other people will be doing the same. So if you're asleep, someone might come in from a party at 4 AM and you'll just have to deal with it. Although if eveyrone from the KATG group coordinates properly, you shouldn't have that kinda problem because everyone will be out partying together.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I know there some hostels that close their doors at a certain time, and you can't get back in until the morning.
