Problems with the other leg comes from the limping or imbalance caused by wearing the cast or boot. Try not to walk differently as much as possible.
You probably know by now, but work boots or similarly think soled shoes work best to counteract the height of the boot. When I had to wear a boot for when I tore some shin muscle, I didn't notice any difference when wearing my DM's. That should help any knee or whatever issues with the other leg. |

Thanks for the advice. This is the first time in my life that I have had to wear a cast for anything. It blows. And I can already tell that my left hip and knee are taking a beating from holding all my weight.
Time for me to get out the Doc's? Awesome. I haven't worn em in years. |
