So you say your mother didn't know until after you were born. Wouldn't something like no limbs show up on an ultrasound?

Also, if you knew that a child of yours would have the same condition, would you still want to bring him/her into the world? (asking from both a preconception and postconception perspective).

I honestly don't know. It's a good question, and I will ask my mother the next time I talk to her.

Sadly, I don't know that I would. I would want my child to have all the opportunities I didn't.
