When I was growing up as a young Cajun in Louisiana... and drinking was as accepted as getting married at 17, there was a saying, "It is 5 O'Clock somewhere." This meant that it is now socially acceptable to drink. (and I know we didn't invent that saying, but I claim it for us, Smiley with raspberries) New saying, "Its Wednesday somewhere".
