Kids are hard work. So far I'm only 4 years in and the hardest part was infancy-3.5
3.5 to 4 has been outstanding. 0-3.5 was good but fraught with challenges, sleeplessness, teething, toilet training, socialization problems, illness, growth spurts, stages like biting and hitting (the angry 2 year old). It's all fun but some points can be work...that's why 2 parents are helpful :-) dEad, I don't think parenting works like that, you are never done. I still need my mom and dad. Talk to them daily, rely on them to help me with my child. I think the lull years are 20 to maybe marriage or grandchildren. Once those grand children come along you're back on deck! HAHAAH |
