Pets are easier then children but you have no idea how much love you would feel for your own child. It is all consuming.

he was 10 when my son was born, Sanchez, on the right

he was a Mexican Sensimilla Hound (black lab and wire hair terrier)

a great guy, super smart and well behaved, so many stories

had to give him away when my son started crawling, he'd be in the back of the house growling, he was confused

he lived a long and happy life as a ranch dog

the other dog is Lance, my female roomie's pup
they played hard and were so much fun together
