I'm wondering if I can just put vacuum sealed meat into a pot of boiling water and just monitor the pressure. I have the Omaha Steak selections and they are all vacuum sealed already.

yeah you could do that. i've bought meat from the supermarket already vac sealed & dropped it in.
the only issue with the pot of water is monitoring the temp. 1 degree can make a difference |
