Well fuck me, it's quiet in here.

There's a vague smell of Persian spices, and there appears to be the imprint of a camel's foot in the ground; but I'm sure I'm mistaken...

The halls of this thread echo with the ghosts of posts past.

Hints of numbers lurk in the shadows. Behind a large urn, what looks ominously like a 1202 peers out, with an air of malice radiating from every digit.

The lights are off. Each footfall echos in the abandoned halls. Memories of walking quickly through school corridors when everyone has left are pushed aside as more numbers make their presence felt.

The numbers, they follow me.

I close my eyes and they are there... Mocking me; leering at me; waiting for me to make a misstep, and then they will pounce.

I cannot misstep. I cannot fall...

Too much is at stake.

I must prevail.

I must.
