I got a new bike.
This one, as Campy would say, it's a murder-cycle. It scares me. I hate helmets. I've stopped entire convoys at state borders to either put on or remove my helmet. I willingly wore my full face helmet on this bike. |

5072.
2004 CBR1000RR 11k miles. It was my friends bike. It came with some Godawful fairing on it. It was painted with matte black plastidip which did the bike a favor, IMO. He was stopped, making a left turn and got barely rear ended. More of knocking him off his balance and the bike went down on the left side. It broke one mounting tab on the frame so the insurance company wanted to total it out. I have always wanted a street bike engine in a cruiser frame so I picked it up for a grand. When I got it, and I saw the broken bung, I realized this is totally fixable and the reason why I had bought a TIG welder. I need to resize the pictures before upload. |
