It's half time right now in the Grand Final Wil told you guys about. In the very first tackle of the game the kick-off returner from South Sydney, Russ's team, collided heads with one of the guys tackling him and fractured his cheekbone. He stayed on the field and played the rest of the 40 minute half, and played hard, even though there are substitutes available.

the background noise throughout this is kind of distracting, but the echo on Chemda's segment is unforgivable.. WTF is up with your sound podcasters?
Makes me really appreciate Keith's insanity about sound details and that they never compromise their show's quality.

I couldn't listen to it either, that shit is just an assault on the earholes. The Comedy Film Nerds and Sklarbros eps are very fun though. It's always entertaining to hear other podcasters react to how ridiculously quick Keith can be.

In the closing minutes, when his side had built such a lead their championship victory was a fait accompli, the full weight of the occasion and the history and the good God damned epicness of his heroics got through the toughened exterior of the big man and he sobbed tears of joy during a break in play while one of his team mates lined up to kick a conversion.




Even with a fractured cheekbone AND eye socket (and probable concussion) this dude didn't just stay in the game for the full 80 minutes, he performed so well, turning in such impressive stats for tackles and metres gained, he was awarded the Clive Churchill medal for Man of the Match (aka MVP)

Agreed.

The What the Pod F Bang Bang title is horribly misleading as well. It alludes to: WTF, The Paul F. Tompkins, and Comedy Bang Bang podcasts. All of which have nothing to do with this abomination. Unless of course you include Marc Maron. Who sat down for two sentences before being annoyed and abruptly walking off.

The What the Pod F Bang Bang is a total waste of time. Sad, considering the names it touts as well as the fandom it supposedly has for podcasting. It stands to reason that no one really knows the quality of podcast these people have when you sit down to help them out.

Chemda was duped by fake podcasters!!!
