Her name is actually Heroine (as in the female hero) and not Heroin as in the drug.

im bummed. my cat buster (see previous page - orange short hair) is 18ish. lately he hasnt been around as much.
hes lost alot of weight ( he used to be such a fatty) and now his right front paw doesnt seem to work, so he kind of limps. he still eats and drinks but seems weak.

i made him a big cage so he cant get too far and have an appointment tommorrow with the vet, but i think hes just old.

Aw, I'm sorry. I hope there is something that can be done.

I can certainly sympathize. For those of you that are interested, and didn't already know, Janis died the night after her surgery. I didn't get to bring her home to say good-bye. On Monday morning I picked her up and drove to my parents house. I buried her in the back yard next to my two childhood dogs. I will miss her. Thanks for the condolences. She was a great cat.

im sorry to hear about that. i have buried 2 cats in my backyard already. it sucks. they were both younger then buster too.
i took buster to the vet - paid $38 to officially know that hes old. apparently he cant move his paw because its neurological.
they could work up blood tests and stuff to find out if its kidney or liver failure making him lose weight but even if i paid $180 for the blood test, they really couldnt do anything about it.
so i just gotta make him comfortable til the end. i built a kind of cage real quick. sucks that he cant roam around free, but he might get run over or stuck somewhere.
