if you're just putting up a resume stick it on google local a.k.a. google maps. - will get hugely noticed

also put it on google docs - share publicly, then tweet the link to potential employers like mad... make sure you use bit.ly links to it though so you can gauge response.

if you're stuck on facebook you might as well use that too, and buzz, etc.

get it on digg too the more links to it the more relevant it'll be in searches.

it's a brave new world, shove your resume down the internet's pipe hole.

didn't see the thing where google docs is blocked.. try docstoc

also linkedin can't be blocked by corporations can it?

i use powweb.com No real complaints. I get a lot of space, unlimited domains etc...

however, I have a couple of web business projects (one website up) another in production and I'll be putting my resume out there.

yoav helped me out a bit so his advice probably makes the most sense.

You get a site with Google Apps. Good clean-looking templates and a domain-based email address using gmail's interface. You can write or customize the code easily if that's your thing. If you need to host files like PDFs or Office documents you can use dropbox along with Google docs.

Yeah, I'm using google apps on my domain too. Works great, I like having a unique domain name for my email.
