I'll repeat for this thread: This movie blows. I am a Kevin Smith fan boy, and I couldn't even stand it. I am starting think that I saw a different version of this movie than everyone else.

I can sort of see your point. The big problem I saw was that the dialogue was pretty good, but delivered poorly. A lot of it was said too fast and not very naturally. Once the scenes that started invovling Rosario Dawson started the pacing got a lot better.

There is an amazing super-luxury theatre 5 miles from me showing this right now, and 32oz beers at-your-seat are $3 tonight. I may need to see it again

that's all of smith's movies. the ametureness of it is part of the appeal for me though.

There was some very funny dialoge in the movie, but I think overall it tried too hard to be a 'real' movie and just somehow didn't work for me.
