I just called up Jersey. The delivery person (not my place to guess) admitted he (ok, it was a he) got curious and opened the box and started reading. He "promises" he'll find a way to "put it down soon."

Book #8 checking in!

I did the “flip to a random page and vomit” challenge…

Literally first random page I opened to is the jingling libido page…and this page number no less! Very NICE! I mean very not nice on father Malley’s part, but we got the book out of it so what can I say.

Just giddy with excitement over this thing. It’s in my hands! IT’S IN FATHER MALLEY’S HANDS!!!!!! Well by now it’s probably in a neighbors ravine…

I'm working on a very "writing heavy" degree right now, and reading The Dad Book in my downtime. I became frightfully aware that as I'm writing these papers and responses and whatnot that I may be taking on Father Malley's writing style. I almost puked at the realization.

The guy's so good at bullshit that his bullshit is leaking into my bullshit. There should be a warning label on the book.

Oh my fucking god then I read page 122 and vomit for real and regret even comparing my ability to bullshit a response paper to this monster of a human. Keith my heart sincerely goes out to you.

I rated and reviewed on Amazon but just got notified that they won't post my review. This is what they said:

I didn't use profanity, hate speech etc so maybe your dad contacted Amazon and complained about harassment? That's a guess.

I tried re-submitting another review.

The book should arrive by March 1st, I will keep you posted.
