I needs a firewall

What's a good free firewall for Vista? Comodo and ZoneAlarm are not options.

Have you tried the built-in firewall? They did a lot of work on it in Vista and it's quite a bit better than it was in XP.

So what is wrong with Comodo? It's free, and it's my favorite. Comodo also won as everybody's favorite firewall over at LifeHacker.

Why do you need a software firewall?

edit: I ask because most people don't need them unless it's for something very specific.

A. I have no hardware firewall

B. There may be a program or two on this computer that, if connected to the internet could figure out they're not exactly paid for.
