Our hotel room is booked at the Detroit Courtyard Marriott (downtown), in case others need to book rooms.

doh!

Hey guys...I work right by Greek town casino. Just know that since they are building a hotel onto the casino, there is a bit of construction. I walk to Greek town for lunch quite a bit. West Lafayette is shut down (front of casino). I will not be able to go to the meet up! I am throwing my best friend her bachelorette party that night. Remember, the next day is mother's day too. The breakfast place is a bit expensive, but is sooooo gooood! It is right near the Hard Rock Cafe.

The Marriott hotel is on Jefferson avenue right near my job! You also will be across the street from the Windsor tunnel, and the GM headquarters (renaissance center).

I'm very sorry everyone. Maybe when life doesn't get in the way, I'll be able to make the next meetup.
How can you drop an epic story on the show and then not come to the meetup? It's just wrong.

Alright, I have forced a change of plans. I was going to drive down to Columbus to meet her this weekend, but instead, I'll be going to the meetup alone.

What's 5 years and one weekend?

But I more than likely will need a hotel room, because I'm not coming all the way back to Royal Oak at night only to turn around and go all the way back at 9 am for breakfast... best to make a whole weekend of it.

And I'll bring some booze and my guitar (not the one in the pic) and we'll have a room party...

Now, suggest a hotel, dammit.

Or I will just do the meetup and skip the breakfast.

Should I still bring my geetar?

I'm a little wishy-washy if you haven't guessed.

We're at the Detroit Courtyard Marriott, Kataish booked our room, so PM her for details on the place.

I PMed you, you should book your hotel there. We're down for a room party. Definitely bring your guitar!
