I'M ONE OF THE OCEANIC 6!!
That was awesome... No idea where your discussion is headed, just thought I'd post some thoughts and see what you guys think. Hurley goes with Locke and the others, well this just reminds me of a couple of instances where Hurley went directions we didn't quite expect from his character. 1) The time when Hurley was with Sawyer/Kate/Jack at the end of Season 1, and then he was sent back to the camp to inform his fellow Oceanic friends not to fuck with the others. ("But what about my friends?") and 2) at the end of Season 2 when he wanted to accompany Sawyer and Juliet back to the Oceanic camp to save the three men... The point? well I think his reason for eventually leaving (or being told to leave) Locke and them has something to do with his innocence and Locke knowing that Hurley is a loyal soul, who would never reveal the true nature of the island. I guess you've kind of picked up that on that point that Locke and the others who remained on the island viewed it as a sort of "new life" and much in the way the Others lived, need no outside party to interfere. So who are the Oceanic 6? Well, we know Jack Kate and Hurley are part of that group, as well as the Japs, and Juliet? I forget now... |

Jack's eyes
So I re-watched the scene where Hurley peeks into that little cabin and see's Jack's dad.. then someone pops up at the window and all you could see around his green eye on the LEFT side of his face. That green eye looked VERY familiar... I went back to the first episode and took a screen shot of that closeup of Jack's green eye on the RIGHT side of his face in the opening scene and I put them side by side.
![]() It makes sense since it was Jack's dad sitting in that rocker. What do you guy's think?
