It drizzled a bit here. I am disappoint. Much sympathy to those on the coast that got their shit wrecked. One of my friends posted this on Facebook, and I've been sending it to friends that check in on me.

There was some flooding in Hutto. Glad you're ok. When we first moved down to Austin there was a huge flood. I also noticed there were no tornado sirens. Having been through f-5 twisters and 5 ricter scale earth quakes in Oklahoma that disturbed me. I don't know how to prepare for a flood. This is all new to me.

Oh god the tornado thing terrifies me because, other than maybe being confronted by a tiger or equivalent large animal like that, it seems one of the few things I legitimately am incapable of handling properly.

I was with my wife and kid when we got turned away from what used to be a public shelter. That was during the mile wide f-5. Bought a storm shelter after that.

We are running out of gas in Austin. I went to three stations today and nobody has any, saw two gas stations with mile long lines. This is like those pics you see from the 70s.
