There should be moderation, but not tho the extent where most people will feel it or even notice it.
We shouldn't have to edit ourselves when posting. That's why we come here: to talk shite. |

I agree with Jo and Bebe. I have had a few occations recently where I have typed out a entire rant and then decide to just close the window and not post it.
Oh and let's not repeat the complaints that have been said plenty of times in the "where did all our posts go" thread. We all know we (or most of 'we') are pissed off about the NA that have been deleted but it has been said and I think the message is clear to the current mods. EDIT; We should edit ourselves. I'm not saying we're gonna turn this into some catholic school girl bull shit but think about what you're about to say and if it'll make any sense, or if it'll be just some rambling rant which no one will really follow. The moderation that exists now may be punishing the incorrect folks, as Rye suggested.
I don't understand why you can't create a thread about the direction the forums have gone in without it getting deleted. |

Whats the big deal ! Some people who have been around for ages have started threads that didn't take off and infact have been a bit shit.
You moderate the forums, be prepared to lose some of your freedoms which makes the forums what they are... GREAT. When do you stop moderating? who sets the rules? KATG i'm sure are trying to encourage listeners, to their type of radio show instead of mainstream public radio where that is moderated by everyone. |

And it wasn't until very recently that I understood what the NA threads were all about, and I'm quite flabbergasted that they were deleted. So sad. |
