believe it or not, ive actually seen real live black people that werent on TV! Youre from the the southeast, my old stomping grounds, you tell me, are they rare?

and having been around it all my life, TV rarely portrays it with any credibility or accuracy. i know first hand that its not a world of bling, spinning rims, bass and hydrolics, guns and violence. its not a world of tricks and hos, a world of gang style brotherhood and camaraderie.

having been around it all my life, i will say its a broken culture, broken since the days of slavery, and its slowly building up to something functional, but theres still a long way to go. the family unit, outside of deeply religious families that have adopted christianity, usually baptists, is pretty broken, and greatly restricts the oppertunity of offspring that a larger family unit would allow for. society, the man, keeps that perpetually going through a crippling false sense of entitlement that retards the growth of a culture.
