Thanks for all the advice guys, yea I confronted the kid and he flat out denied it, I told him that I knew he had taken it and that not to bother showing up at any family functions at my parents place as he's not trusted.
Probably harsh but fuck him.
And yea I am buying my friend a new nano and insisting she take it!
