We can have an open marriage. You can even keep your real live bf as well as strafer as long as I get to keep Rhi

I suppose you could also call it "grits alfredo." For all intents and purposes, grits are just another word for polenta.
Holy crap! That with scotch eggs and asparagus with hollandaise? You're secretly trying to kill your friends via cholesterol!

...can I be your friend?

I actually got my ass handed to me on the breakfast field last weekend at my buddy's cottage. One couple who came up made monte cristo sammiches and crepes. CREPES! Can anyone help me out with good recipes for those?

Oh, and someone else made pancakes with Bailey's. SO good. And I hate pancakes.

The thing about Scotch Eggs is, done correctly, so much of the fat renders out, we're also talking about the merest ribbon of hollandaise. The grits, though... yep, them's'll fuck ya.

Paddles on standby.

But think of the standard American breakfast, and mine doesn't seem quite as insane.

I told you already, Bailey's is magics. Almost mud pie magics .

Monte Cristos - had them (not I) but throughout the honeymoon in Cuba.

2 eggs
touch of milk
pinch of nutmeg
Coarse salt/pepper
bread/english muffin
1/2 lb turkey breast
thin sliced apples (granny smith)
Cheese slices, cheddar or jack

Scramble eggs with milk, nutmeg and salt.
Assemble the sammiches, and like grilled cheese,
press them down in a pan or a foreman to make them slim.

Yeah, good stuff.

A Monte Cristo is essentially a French toast panini.

Try it with shaved serrano ham and swiss. Damn.

Done and done.

Only what's serrano ham? Is that like prosciutto?
