Aren't PET plastic bottles also used for Coke bottles, individual-sized milk bottles, sodas in general and other things that regularly come in plastic bottles?

Cause I've long thought that bottled water was stupid, simply on the fact that paying money for something I get for free is retarded. Let alone the fact that tapped water is much more regulated than bottled water....but I mean, if the PET-dangers are real, that means I'm still fucked when I drink sodas...and I like my sodas.

Okay, I watched about 3/5ths of tapped last night... But then I had to turn that shit off. It was depressing as hell!

Don't get me wrong. I'm an environmentalist. And I think that what I saw of Tapped should probably be required viewing for every last person in the Western world. I'm serious about that. I want to play it for everyone I know so they'll stop buying bottled water, stat.

But maybe the movie should be shorter or something, because at a certain point, I just thought, "Well. It's fucking hopeless. We're a species of selfish, thoughtless, wasteful idiots, and this bottled water thing alone will probably be the end of us. We might as well all kill ourselves now and skip the whole collectively-dying-of-thirst thing." I decided to take a klonopin and go to bed instead of immediately jumping out the window. But five more minutes of Tapped, and who knows.

I'm not sure if that counts as a review or not. And I know it might be confusing. I think it was an excellent choice, Dave, and I'm glad I watched (most of) it. I just didn't have the constitution to make it to the end.

Yeah, it was good. I kind of droned out a few times, just because well...I dunno it's hard for me to watch a documentary I already agree with, you know? Sure I might not know exact statistics, but the point of any documentary is to bring an issue to light, when I'm already aware of the issue and agree with the stance...it's kinda like...at best I can just learn more reasons to think what I think, or try to remember a specific case study/stat/event...It's like watching a documentary on why you shouldn't piss in people's eyes...I already know why, and there might be some specific info about how uracil can cause gluacoma if applied directly to the eyes, but otherwise I'm already on bored and after a while it's hard to follow.

Also I demand more nifty animations in my docs...GOTTA LOVE NIFTY ANIMATIONS.

I keep hearing people talk about "Troll 2" and would be curious to check out its infamous awfullness.

I haven been around as much as I like, so I haven't been up on the movies as of late. I have seen tapped before though and ive hated humans ever since. Down the line I'm going to make you all watch the cove, that'll brighten things up a bit.

Great film. I think I might have teared up watching it....the scene with the dolphin, and the blood all over the water, and you see him like flailing until he just, I guess sinks...or stops moving...damn.

Yes, I'm gonna select Dogtooth because that looks awesome and it's available for instant view on netflix. I can't find anything in my queue to top that for a first group viewing.
