The 3 Rules of FILM CLUB:
1) Film Clubbers have at least 48 hrs to watch and review the current film before the next film-selector is chosen.

2) The most recent film-selector chooses the next film-selector from the pool of Film Clubbers who have reviewed the film.

3) When reviewing a film in the thread, Film Clubbers give warnings for spoilers, or they color the spoiler-text in white.

Well Jacey, besides the fact that you're WINNING, you're the only one who seems to have appreciated my case of the Shakes.

I guess everyone else was busy trying some Charlie Sheen and having their faces melt off as their children wept at the sight of their exploding bodies. :/

So that makes me chose Jacey for next picker!

i watched an hour and had to turn it off. the acting was good which is the only reason i watched it for more than lie 10 minutes. it was like watching a foreign film without subtitles. the only reason i knew what was going on was because i had to read the book for high school english. the words were just too non-american english for me to follow and really get into. i did like the whole creepy vibe thing tho knowing that it was a murder-y movie.
does anyone know if hamlet is any less "shakespearian" in language because one of my favorite actors David Tennant (10th Doctor for those who watch Dr.Who) and MacBeth himself, Patrick Stewart, is in it.

I'm not sure whether you mean just the play itself or that particular production of it, I assume the latter because obviously all of Shakespeare's plays are just as Elizabethan-English as the others, but for that movie, I'm pretty positive it's also just modern attire and setting, but with original text dialogue.
