I just read this thread (how have I never seen this thread until now?) and I dont think anyone mentioned Toribash. It's a turn-based 3-d combat simulator where instead of pressing buttons to punch or kick, you select joints and contract or relax them in ways that will make your player punch (or kick, or jump, or whatever....) It is really versatile and has an incredibly steep learning curve but if you can stick with it for a little while you can pull off some amazing moves. Lurk in some of the multiplayer rooms for a bit to get some ideas and to see people who are good at the game. And it's totally free!
