I love this psychedelic Austin band. They only put out one EP. The track TV Is Ok is amazing but couldn't find it on youtube, so Rocket will have to suffice. Que Tragedia.

I always think two things when I hear this song. One. "How is this not R.E.M.? Two. "This. THIS motherfucker right here...this man can write a song."

I came across The Front Bottoms a few months ago and am really digging them. They're not new but they're new to me. I don't even know what id describe their sound as, it's kind of 90's indie built to spill kind of stuff..? I think? I dunno. Also, how do you not already give a +3 before listening to a band name like that?

Posted the single a few months back but now the entire EP is out and free to listen to on soundcloud. https://soundcloud.com/monarch-sky/sets/sound-of-flight

It's also available on iTunes if you enjoy it and feel so inclined, but either way I always enjoy feedback!

This came up on Slacker while listening to Red Light King, the only Canadian thing I like other than Campy.

I haven't decided if I like it yet, but I didn't recognize the band name so maybe I'm avant garde?

NEW Cannibal Ox with MF DOOM

Cannibal Ox released their debut The Cold Vein in 2001. It is, (in my opinion) one of the greatest indie/underground hip hop albums. Mostly due to lyrical flow of Vaste Aire.

New album out March 3rd. Really hoping it lives up to previous effort.
