My band Monarch Sky just released a new single. I've posted our stuff here before and I believe this is a big step above anything else we've done.! Check it out and let me know what you think!

Monarch Sky - Addict
Nice post. It's pretty amazing musicians can upload their stuff to SoundCloud and build an audience online. I'm constantly checking out bands that come thru via youtube or soundcloud. It makes for a nice preview.
StereoKill, I like your bassist and drums. I'd also say this song was produced very well. The things I didn't care for...I didn't care for. The end. |

I noticed. I notice thru the absolute lack of 'Likes' on my posts. I posted effeminate indie songs this week. Next week I'll do underground-ish/ lesser known hip hop. I've only heard Royce Da 5'9 on DJ Premier's compilation, with the song Boom, but I like it.
I literally listen to everything. Yes, even country. Yes, even electronic. It might be the only positive attribute to being insanely emotional. I like all genres of music. Just depends on mood. And I'm a moody bitch. Paraquat. What do you listen to ? Metal? Death Metal? Hard Rock? Children's lullabies? What? |

I did enjoy that but in a background filler way. If that makes sense.
I listen to lots of stuff. I guess indie isn't my deal. As a reference if I listen to Slacker Radio my top 4 stations are Lindsay Stirling, Avenged Sevenfold, My Darkest Days, and Halestorm. I got turned onto Lindsay Stirling via a "duet"? With Lzzy Hale from Halestorm: Shatter Me Featuring Lzzy Hale - Lindsey Stirling: http://youtu.be/49tpIMDy9BE But it turns out I dig whatever genre that is. Not as dark as Apocalyptica but I feel as if calling it "acoustic" would be an insult. Lzzy Hale's voice just ... wow. |
