fucking weather

I'm off work today so I didn't go out til about 1:00pm

I was already wearing a sweater, then put on a jacket and walked outdoors.

It's about 70 deg F out (21C). My car is covered in road salt from the past-weeks ice and snow and it's 70F outside.

right now, at just after 8PM it's 63F outside (17C), two hours after the sun has set.

Tomorrow calls for a high temp of 32F (0C) and a chance of snow and ice. I guess I wasted the shortest-day heat wave by getting drunk and staying inside.

that's one of the better ways to waste a day.

The weather is messed.

from -30 C (-22 F?) it jumped to +5 the other day. It's -13 C with windchill now, and going to rise, ice rain overnight, and then go up to 9C on Sunday, where it will turn snow all slushy and then drop fast and freeze the thawing.

Yay.

the weather's erratic EVERYWHERE

first it'll be hot and sunny, then gradually into windy, cold and rainy. fucked up weather indeed.

Global climate change is a better description. Overall the world is warming, and this causes the instability, like you say. But if you just call this 'global warming' people get the wrong idea and think that if it's not getting noticeably hotter, it must be a lie. Most of the public confusion/skepticism about the whole thing stems from this naming issue...

yay for a bebe education :) can we just blame the scientists who are responsible to inform the public of this naming issue?

The weather here can't seem to make up its mind either.

It was 14 degrees 48 hours ago. We've been through freezing rain, windy rain, and now everything is just soggy, and it's 62 out.

i feel like it's tornado-type weather.
