I've used Firefox and Chrome before. Both of them seemed to after a time start having issues. Mostly with their vast array of plugins not working right.
Maybe it's changed, but about a year ago when I was using Chrome it was a pain in the ass to get simple things like flash to work because no installer had been made for it. You had to manually move files around to get it installed. Also it wasn't capable of using some programs that IE can.

To each his own I guess. All those superior browsers you listed to me were a pain in the ass to get working and even then would stop working after awhile.

I've been using Chrome for about a year now, and I haven't really had much in the way of problems. The browser freezes up on me maybe once every few weeks or so, if that. With IE it seemed like it was every other day.

frustrations of a web developer, don't pay too much attention

chrome's been through a few versions in that time. it's much faster than a year ago, has more features, and they now build flash right into chrome so you never have to worry about flash security or having to update it.

also fyi since chrome keeps it's own separate version of flash updated, if you use IE or Firefox every now and then you'll need to keep your system's flash updated as per usual.

can't speak for plugins as i don't use any in chrome.
