It is? really? I lost all shock regarding the death of comics a LONG time ago.

If he would have pulled through? What would that mean? Misery.

The more I see of things like this, the more I realize the downsides of comedy?

You make people happy, but you yourself are so miserable it leads to your death...

Shame.. but no, this isn't all that surprising or shocking..

That he died before Artie Lange? Really? I mean even a little bit?

Meh, guess someone has to bet on the other horses.

So sad. So, so sad. Rest in peace, Greg. My heart goes out to Jesse as well. But as I was thinking about it, I couldn't help but acknowledge the typical celebrity trifecta: old broad from Titantic (how did she die again?), the Segway owner who plunged to his ironic death, and Greg. For some reason, I think he would appreciate being in the company of such novelty.

The only reason I love Gilbert Godfried is his twitter post earlier:

"If Greg Giraldo is cremated, will that be the "Greg Giraldo Roast"?"

We spoke to Gilbert about the tweet ... who told us he has problems expressing his emotions -- but noted, "Greg can't say anything about it now ... I'm not worried about him calling and complaining."

This is really horrible news. I met Greg when he and Jesse did a few days at The Improv in Houston. Of course, Greg was amazing on stage, and he was a real nice guy to talk to after the show.

When something like this happens, it leaves us with a lot of questions; like, is it too late for Keith to be upgraded as one of Jesse's groomsmen now?

I hope Jesse and Haley are doing OK, and my best to the Giraldo clan and his friends.
