hair color change: blue or red?

So I just found out that I get a corporate discount at bumble and bumble some foofy hair salon. I said fuck it, after xmas I'm going to splurge and get an appt. there but first I need to redye my hair. It's currently dark purple but I want to go back to red or blue. My boyfriend's no help because he pulls that "i love them both!" b.s. so I figured I'd ask you guys since the forums are known for their (blatent) honesty. Vote!
Whichever color I go with, I'm going to buy 3-4 different shades to give a highlight effect. First up:
BLUE!

RED!

Blue honestly looks better. Although that Leeloo look is bad ass, doesn't make it the better choice.

I'd need better pics of your blue, but I'd have to go with red. Red is one of the sexiest hair colors, natural or otherwise.
