It's fine for me to see millions of people enjoying one thing and having this 'magical' book as a stepping stone to meeting more people of the same interests and similar hobbies (much like what Chemda mentioned in one of the recent shows), but when people begin dissecting Harry Potter and turning it into either a portrayal of religious conflict or a fucking coming of age story, THAT annoys me to no end.

It's not even well written, I have a copy of one of the older books sitting on the shelf from years ago.
