Help me celebrate Micah Sherman

Today on the 1st of July we should all be really proud of Micah for successfully collecting 10.232 $ on Kickstarter to film his documentary LIKE ME in 2013!

I was so pleased to help out with the tiny amount of 35$!!!

So in celebration of this 2 year milestone I would really like to congratulate him on completely ignoring his backers and NOT DELIVERING ANYTHING to his backers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No update on Kickstarter since the 10th of August 2014

Its kickstarter so there is not much I can do to get my money back but I am stuck in a hotel tonight on a worktrip so later today I will entertain myself by telling him and any of his buddies that I can think of what a huge douche he is.

Feel free to help me if you need to let off some steam today or god-forbid gave him money as well.

That's terrible you supported Micah and weren't compensated. I'm not familiar with his LIKE ME/ kickstarter thing, but understand not feeling 'compensated.'

This being said.

I think it's a bit petty and vindictive to go after Micah for a measly $35. It also sounds like this was literal YEARS ago? The guy is great, (that is a factor in you supporting him) and a reoccurring guest. Not only on KATG, but a regular on Myq Kaplan's show as well.

I understand you feel cheated. I'd point out that for $35 you could be the bigger person in this situation. NOT rally a hate group. NOT reflect on this till it drives you crazy. Not post an offensive from a KATG forum, (which feels odd) considering it's kind of Micah's home. You're better than that.

Rather than dwell on this in your hotel room why not go to the bar? Have a drink? Enjoy yourself? Just a thought.

BTW Micah released a download link 2 hours ago which he may potentially or even probably have planned for today anyway. Also he let me know I hurt his feelings.

That's fair but I still think not communicating to his backers for 10 months is rude so I don't feel too terrible about what I did.
